PhotoFiltre Studio 7.3.2

Although it is the PhotoFiltre successor and looks alike it, this Studio version is more powerful than the older. The layer support is not the only evolution of this software. A new display engine has been developed in order to handle real-time merging and alpha channel support. I have kept the same User Interface, because I think it's a more natural way to upgrade the software. Experienced users will be surprised to learn how much additional features they will get with the layer support.

The Tools palette
The new Color palette, larger and, lets you select colors easier than ever before (you can switch with the grid mode, gradient or the Windows' colors picker dialog box).

You have a larger number of items :
- The Erase tool : You are able to use it in Layers mode, Transparent mode and RGBA mode.
- The Retouch Tool : Lets you correct Red Eyes effects or Gamma Level
- The layer Manager : Provides quick access to commonly used options of the current layer.

Each picture has an independant Layers Frame. Three thumbnail sizes are available:
- Standard size (see the screenshot above)
- Large size
- Invisible (Null size)

PhotoFiltre Studio can handle several layers type:
- Bitmap Type: (eg. : Cut/Paste Operations)
- Text Type : Dynamic, it can be modified at any time
- Settings Type : provides Real-Time gamma, contrast or Hue adjustements
- Color Type : provides Real-Time transparents effects
- Some Drop Shadow Options are available in Bitmap & text mode.
